Artist Biography – Darlene Kokotailo


For more than 35 years, I have been dedicated to the intricate and delicate art of egg carving. Entirely self-taught, I discovered a deep connection to this unique medium, blending patience, precision, and artistry to transform fragile eggshells into heirloom-quality works of art. Each piece is meticulously designed, showcasing both tradition and originality.

My work is showcased annually at several prestigious art shows across Alberta, including:
